Luciana Bellini - Journalist and Freelance Writer

Born and bred in London, Luciana Bellini is a city girl through and through. From 2005 – 2008 she took a brief departure from London life to study English at Cambridge University, where her writing career began in earnest. In her busy final year she contributed a weekly fashion column – a send-up of Trinny and Susannah-style makeovers – and edited the Lifestyle section of the award-winning Varsity Newspaper.

In the same year Luciana undertook a demanding internship at British Vogue: working with the Fashion Features team, she had the opportunity to observe behind the scenes at one of the most successful magazines in the world. She went on to graduate with a 2.1. and after all her hard work decided she deserved a break, so spent six months travelling around India, teaching and writing.

Since her return in 2009 she has worked with several high end publications, including ES Magazine, Russian Vogue and Tatler, The Sunday Telegraph's Stella Magazine and The Daily Telegraph.

 

 

She currently works as the Features Assistant at British GQ, where she writes about books, music, television, business and gadgets. She is also a freelance features writer for several London-based publications, covering fashion, design, interiors, property and travel, and a freelance contributor to The Independent's High Street Kensington Diary.
